Won't speak for you but that is why I do my own Euro mounts. Both of mine are in the process right now. I'll try to get pics up when I'm done.

While I have already shot a buck I am still hunting. Anyone else still hitting the woods?

I am still doin it. Had gun open this past weekend, so I am giving a few days for the deer to calm down. Go back out Thanksgiving morning. Rut has been strange around here, seems like the big ones are just coming about, or so I am told. I have seen little to no activity for a couple of weeksand didnt see alot before then, but not giving up, have a tag or two to fill and I will do so.

Still hunting. Gun season closed yesterday and although I have not seen much this year, I did see a few before gun season opened. After the orange army came out have not seen one deer. I'll be back in the woods this week trying to fill my tag and freezer. Bad year for me as far as shot opportunities - no deer to shoot at.

Still gun season, still going out, but from the reduced numbers of deer I'm seeing, not real anxious to shoot deer. I've passed up quite a few shots on does and all I have left are doe tags. I think all the doe tags the DNR has been handing out the past 5-10 years has finally caught up with us. I'm torn as a farmer/hunter on how many deer there should be; I think I'm comfortable where we are now.

Gun season closes Sunday night, Dec. 18, then I can bowhunt again, with a doe tag. I'll probably go just because I like sitting out there, watching and learning. Who knows, might get a shot at a coyote.
