Good going Jim, now that you hve meat for the freezer, it is time to put bone on the ground! I went out this morning. Kicked out what I think was a buck bout 1 hr before daylight, hit him with my hat light and stared down so I continued up my tree, came daylight I seen my mock scrape was hit. Had a decent one on my cam from last night, possible shooter, he went by to his scrape but looked like a tall 8 or 9, video was somewhat tough to tell. Got this week off so starting in the morning I am all about the tree stand. Scrapes are starting to show up as are rubs.

Had this guy come in right after dark last night. Looks good, Split G-2 and G-3 on the one side, looks like the other is the same from what I can see, nice spread also. Maybe he will make a mistake2 different bucks the 2nd one came to close cant see what we got, but looks like a shooter.

great nite in the woods. Could have tagged out if it werent so early. doe came in messed around awhile off to my west, then another, same thing, off to the west of me, I had some doe P between me and them, so I figure I would just use them as "live bait" with the westrly winds. Well, eventually they left. BOth within easy shooting distance. Then I did a couple grunts and bleats, a 4 pt came in, within 25 yds. a little while later I hit the grunt again and a 2.5 yr old 10 came in, nice looking little deer, if it were the last day I would have taken him, he was under my tree at one point, I should have him on my cam as he was spending alot of time over in that area, so I will throw a pic up when I check cams tomorrow. Then just before dark a tall 8 or 9 (too dark to tell) came by, not wide but tall. So definetly a great night of seeing some good deer.
