Congrats Frosty.
Season opened Oct. 1 but the wind has been bad for where I want to hunt and it's HOT! I sat some fringe areas just to get out, but saw only does and small bucks. Waiting for the perfect conditions to go after my target buck.

Congrats on the buck! Way to get the team off on a good start.
I've been out twice at my Chicagoland spot and haven't seen a thing. It has been pretty hot here. A little mad that my Trail Camera froze up on me for a week so couldn't see if anything was moving and by the tracks I know some deer have been by. Did a test and it looks to be working now.... at least I hope. Weather looks to cool off by the weekend so I should get out a few times. If not, I'll be down in Central Illinois the weekend after this for 3 days, hopefully the pre rut should be starting and get the bucks moving. Got an email with some fresh trail cam pics and getting some more bick bucks, Can't wait!
