hey im probably looking too far ahead but... do we have a team captain and when we shoot one we score it and send all the information to who... a team captain has to enter it right or do we do that on our own... All i know for sure is we have to get some bucks down soon

Thank gosh I have a great relationship with the landowner. I talked to him yesterday and he will be talking to the neighbor. It turns out his kid is squirrel hunting. I don’t mind kids getting involved for sure so we agreed after deer season is over he can go back there hunt. We need the youth involved in the outdoors for sure.

i was wondering the same thing about the captain. onm my old teams we usually just posted a pic and score of the buck on our team page and then the captain posts it on the bow contest page. Check the rules page..in ur pic that u submit ur pic has to include urself, the buck and ur bow

Well I have hunted five stands so far and have been skunked on deer sightings. I will be going out this afternoon and again in the morning. After talking all offseason to my dad and grandpa about the promise of hunting early season (they don't usually hunt till mid October) they have both tagged beautiful bucks. Ironic huh? Well I will go ahead and post those two deer on here for y'all to check out. Gpas is a 10 pt that will score about 130. My dads is an 11 pt that will go somewhere in the mid to high 130s (I would guess). Gpa killed his with a recurve at 9 yards out of a ground blind on opening day and my dad killed his on Saturday with his compound out of a tree at 15 yards.

Saturday weather looks to be pretty good here in Illinois. High of about 60 where I'll be at. Only one buck ive spotted that will be an opening day shooter and I've only seen him once. It will be good to be in a tree again though even though its my urban spot 50 yards from the busiest interstate in Chicago. The deer are there though, any mature doe or big buck will be getting an arrow!
