Thanks Bigdaddy, Here he is. I have been fighting a cold, or sinus infection, for a couple of days, and almost didn’t go this morning. I tried a new spot not far from where I had seen a buck the other day. I picked a tree in the dark and miss set my climber, so I had to climb down and adjust it. I got all sweated up and aggravated, already having a sinus headache. Then I dropped my GPS while getting situated. Luckily it was not damaged by the 20 foot fall. I had called a few times and saw nothing so I sat down to take a break and a few minutes later heard a grunt in the distance. I stood up and caught some movement, and a doe stepped out about 60 yards away. This guy came out a minute later. It took them a good 6 or seven minutes, which seemed like a half hour, to get within thirty yards. He then took off after her, so I came to full draw. Luckily she sopped after a few jumps, and he ran right at me to stay behind her. He stopped and turned broadside about 17 yards away. I released the arrow and he fell about 55 yards from my stand in plain view, no tracking necessary. Not my biggest deer but he has a uniqur rack. I am happy with him. Hope everone on the team finds one to make them happy as well. Harry

Not sure why the pic didn't attach. This is my second attempt.

Way to go Harry! We are continuing to launch our lead.
I saw that unicorn looking buck a couple of nights ago but couldn't get a shot.
We still don't have electric and I can't head back to Ohio until we do.
My Dad and brother-inlaw are leaving this afternoon to head out. If I get electric today I will go with them, otherwise I will leave when we do.
Good Luck Guys!

Thanks Ryan. That might be a record turnaround for a deer mount.

Congrats SlowDraw on a dandy buck.
I'm currently packing for my trip North and plan to spend 8 days hunting the rut. Saw two shooters last weekend when I took the boy scouts hunting but most of my time was spent "guiding" the boys into stands and helping them process the two fawns they shot. They kept missing the six pointers on the land (thankfully) .

Here's one of the two shooters I saw last weekend. Well, back to packing..
