I stuck a doe tonight. Shot was further back than I wanted b/c she took step right as I was releasing. The good thing is I drilled an artery and she piled up about 50 yards away. Now that I got some meat in the freezer it's time to get that big buck for the board!!

Well I haven't seen that 10 point yet but the 2-1/2 and 1-1/2 year olds are moving. I saw a little 8 point that I passed on last night. I figure another week or 2 and the 3-1/2 and older should start moving during daylight hours. I'm headed back out to Ohio on Friday. Good Luck Guys.

Well guys, I have this weekend, and next weekend to put my archery tag on something. Our gun season opens on the 5th of November, and runs for 9 days. I will have the muzzle loader out for that. And then if I dont use my gun tag, I will have the bow out for the next weekend, and then our muzzle loader season opens the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Once the guns come out, I usually don't get out much with the bow. But we can hunt with bow until December 31st, so dont count me out yet. I will be in a tree today by 4:00, and then I plan hunting most of the weekend, so dont count me out yet. Good Luck to everyone this weekend!

I went out for the first time this weekend last night and this brute came in 5 minutes before dark at 10 yds. The only way I got the shot of was from the pin light on my bow. I made a double lung shot, he went 150yds and expired. Hes my best deer to date. He should go in the mid 170's. Hes a main frame 12 with a few kickers. Ill get a score on him this evening and get him posted on the scorecard.
