Personally, I've only killed about a dozen, but in the last couple years we got access to some great private land, so it's gonna be another kickass year

Final Roost is also okay with me.
Just bought my Michigan and Ontario tags so good to go.
Gonna put up the cams this weekend to see what is moving.

i was playin around on the computer and i made this what do you think? this is my first time making one of these so it might not look as good as some but i liked it lol..just in case we use the final roost..let me know what you think

thanks bud..i got bored but i thought it turned out pretty cool too..man i cant wait until season starts..if im not mistaken bornagain and hyco you all will be heading out in a couple weeks in florida..hopefully yall can get a few big osceolas on the ground to get us started.

i'm in northwest florida about 10 miles from the alabama line. our birds are easterns. i have property to hunt on both sides and alabama's season starts monday week. i didn't hear a thing this morning. it was about 28 degrees. i'm going up to evergreen,al this afternoon and stay the night so i can listen at some property tomorrow...tony

saw a flock of hens saturday afternoon and saw 5 jakes this morning but didn't hear a gobble.............tony

Final roost sounds good to me, also Siman for captain. I am in central Florida hunting public land. Went out today and my buddy, who is on team 4, located a few birds. I have some good area too, birds are just not gobbling yet. Suppose to be in the 70's all week, so next weekend will be awsome.

Only 13 days to go.

20 days left for us, we just need about 2 weeks of fair weather to get those Toms going! :woot:

ok so we've came to the conclusion siman for prez and the final roost for name so he'll need to check in on the captain thread ..on another note heard a gobble this morning while fishing..now ive REALLY got the fever hows it looking for the rest of you guys..any gobblin or struttin goin on around you all

Got out today and just drove around, seen 8 gobblers in one field i they were about 75 yards from the road no strutting that i seen but the weather has been great here the past few days, its stayed around 70 rain setting in tonight for pretty much the rest of the week but with this warm weather i think their will be alot more activity by the weekend..im heading out in the morning if its not raining too hard to see if i can hear any gobbling..good luck to our early season hunters down south..lets let em know what the final roost is all about

I am taking one for the team. I just purchased a new turkey gun. Mossberg 535 with a red dot scope. I went out Tuesday to pattern it and the first shells are no so hot, 3 1/2 remington high velocity. I may try again this weekend. I know where a few birds are but hunting public land. Only 8 days to go. Going out to scout Saturday. Good Luck to all Team Final Roost.

Went out and shot again today. new shells and a borrowed choke, doubled my pellets. 118 pellets at 40 yards. I also went scouting today and built some ground blinds. Florida season starts one week from today.

Go get the first one for us bornagain64.

The little lady bought me a new 23" barrel with tru-glow fiber sights for my b-day! Can't wait to go get it dialed in with my indian creek choke!

Chris from Ohio checking in. Sorry it took me so long. Just picked up another 800+ acre lease over the weekend. Seen 10 toms feeding out in one of the fields. Also found 4 sheds. Can't wait to get the season started!!!

Hunting in VA and usually get one and on a good year two gobblers. Usually 8-10" beards but light bodies. Season doesn't open until April.
