Sorry guys!

I "dissappeared" for a few days and was away from computer and cell phones. It sure was nice!!

I will get Bull's bird entered here in the next couple days.

Well - it is the correct way to score - a multiple bearded bird all bears lengthwise measuring the longest strand is added for a total score in inches.

I came up with 14! Just think what this bird would have scored if it was not thi young?

And Hey - I don;t think anyone will catch Team 8 now for Best Bird Per Hunter!

Contest closes June 7 at Midnight - easy on biting those finger nails!

Default Short on the skill

I had an opportunity a few weeks ago but couldn't seal the deal. Hopefully I had a good learning experience and will do better next year.

I think fall hunting is just a bit over my head for now.

Thats why they call it hunting and not killing Gunn!!

As long as you enjoyed yourself, thats all that matters.

Also, can you PM me your snail mail address so I can get you a sticker.

I have the other last two to go in the mail on Monday. You are the last one I need an address for.

Default Last Minute Bird

Hey Gang
Talk about right down to the wire
With only 20 min left in my season after callin for hour or so I got ready to pack it in as the season was winding down
Behind me I heard a branch snap so I just sat there waiting to see a old coon or something pop out and low and behold out stepped a Tom
He didnt look like he was doing anything other than going out for a stroll
I thought is this real and slowly brought up my gun
He kept walking and he was about 20 or so yards away and I took the shot
He just floped over kind of weird and hardly even twitched
I just sat there for a moment and thought that is the strangest thing I ever have saw turkey hunting
Well I will take it he was my second bird of the year and the season is now done
I dont know what to say about this season but it was a adventure for sure
First bird was a walk up on 10 min into the season and now this
The rest of the season was a huge leason and I learned tons
Well tonights bird was smaller than my first

21.3125 + 8.75 + 7.5 + 20 = 57.5625

Pics to follow not sure what this does to our score but anything helps I guess
Thanks for the season all, it was a hoot!
