Wow I have been at both ends. I've had the highest scoring bird one year and it looks like I'm going to have the lowest this year. lol
Oh well that's what hunting is all about.

Hey car...some points is better than none points. But you're right. My most heart pounding set-up this season didn't result in a shot being fired. Truth be told, I never saw the tow jokers that had my blood pumping. Just a lot of gobbles and spitting & drumming.

Well guys guess this is my year not to get a bird. I missed the only good shot I had this season, I am glad though at least the rest of you are scoring and our team is doing so well.
Guess now I have to find time for fall hunting.

Ok here it is. It was 13 lbs .25 inch both spurs and depending on how its scored by beards. Some contests here called in 4 beards while others called it 1. To be honest it doesnt matter to me. Im just glad to get a bird after this tough spring. If its 1 beard its 4.5 inches. If it counts as a multiple beards its 4.5, 4.25, 3.25, and 2 inches. Way to go team 8 on the great season. Win or lose we had a great season!
