Well tomorrow (Friday) I go check my trail cams and reset them, I hope I have some nice gobblers on the cameras. I know at least some gobblers roost on the top of the ridge and I'm pretty sure theres another roost area on the other side of the ridge by a creek so I'm going to set up a cam there.
Only 8 days to hunting time!

Lets go KEE KEE Krew !!!

I did more scouting and checked my cameras today, had no turkey pictures on the cams one cam fell so that was a bust. I did however confirm that at least one of the strut areas I found is being used now, I found fresh tracks strut marks and droppings from today.

I reset one camera in the strut area and decided I am going to start hunting that strut area first,
I found no evidence of any hens, that could be very good for me!
I've never used trail cams before kind of a pain to deal with, it would be nice to get some good pictures. No evidence of other hunters either,
I am pumped!!!!

Well, my season will be starting Monday...can't wait! Opened here in TN today, but I was out of town until after dark. That was tough.
