The Toms that Jay is showing are Froze like that due to the immense snow Iowa had!

:) Now they are swimming with the Geese. I had 3 come in like that picture last year in Nebraska to kick my Prettyboy's butt. One left, as my son and me doubled. Only reason one left is I jammed my shell on the ejection. Now that was some pretty exciting stuff.

That is an awesome picture! The river rose about 2' from 1 o'clock to 4 o'clock. I had my truck parked in the bottom, on what I though was high ground, which turned into an island. I drove through the water, and it was about bumper deep. All that, and didn't see a bird. (Saw about 100 deer though)

I usually hunt Public in Iowa, and most of my land is flooded or will be soon. Luckily I have a lead on a whole bunch of private land in Southern Iowa, that I will be checking on next Monday. Hopefully, that works out well.
