Default Another one for Team 3.

Went about 5:30 a.m. this morning, had about a mile walk. Set up, and at 7:00 a.m. a bird gobbled behind me within 100 yds and he never made another sound. Then one gobbled in front of me, maybe 300 yds, he gobbled a total of 3 times and walked out in front of me around 7:30 a.m. Don't ever let anybody tell you a turkey won't cross water (walking), this bird was standing in about 6 inches of water when I shot him at about 30 yds. I used my mouth call and he turned and faced, the rest is history. He's not much to look at being so wet, but here's his stats: 20.5 lbs, both spurs: 1 inch each, beard: 9 & 5/8 inch.

JW! will you post the pics for me, please, please, please.

Good luck to all!

Default My 2nd bird for Team 3!

JW! & BT9,

I'm not sure how to reply, but I thank you both for your comment's.

However, I apply my fishing to hunting, the one that can go the most, will catch/kill the most, if he/she knows what they are doing..

I'm not sure I'm that good, but I do have access to land that most can not hunt. In that light, maybe I'm just very lucky, but I do believe that skill pays a lot.

Thank You Both, and I do wish all, a great year.

JW!, I do believe I have been near Mr. Plopp twice this week, first about the middle of this past week and again this morning. When I call, he shuts up, I'm going tomorrow morning and resolve not to make a sound.

I'm kinda worried, he may be a bird that has had his butt whipped and will not answer when he hears a call. Heck, I'd probably do the same. Regardless if I get him, he'll be here for you.

Will this logo work fellas?

Wish I had more time to do a better job, but 2 jobs, a kid on the way (and one on the ground) trying to get a chance to hunt.... you know how it is.
