I went out again, yesterday and today. Hunting public land again. I am still dealing with hunters walking thru my set up.
Saturday was opening morning for my quota hunt, the gate opens at 4:30, we where 1st in line at 3:45 and the check station guy over slept, he did not show up until 6:05.
by the time I got to my spot it was getting light.
I had 2 Jake's and some hens yesterday and a Jake today.
It is to early to shoot Jake's. I am going out tomorrow to try some new areas.

Checkin in! My season is April 28-May 12. My second year hunting. First year with shotgun! Should be a breeze compared to archery
