Hey guys and welcome to the team. Went back out this morning seen some good tracks in a couple of different areas. Have 2 days left. Let's win this thing.

Hey supperstrutter know exactly what you are talking about. Went out this morning and there has been some youth hunting close to where I had one staked out. Then he was hunting again today. Don't think he got one neither day though. I will be out there very early come Tuesday.

Looks like there will be one less gobbler on my place this season. One less gobbled this morning. I figured the shot I heard connected. Hopefully the next shot to connect will be mine next weekend. With only 6 members voting, it looks like we're the SPURminators.

well decided to wake up early this morning just to see if the toms were gobbling behind my house yet and boy did i get a show. 7:20 saw some hens walking up toward my house with a few jakes. I opened up the sliding glass to listen and right away a tom sounded off 100 yards from the house. they proceeded to strut right up into my yard and dance around for the hens who were combing over the grass for food. ended up being 3 toms, 3 jakes and 16 hens that came into the yard and the toms never broke strut for the 15 minutes there were in the yard. Gobbled a few times in the yard only 20 yards from me then moved out of the yard back toward where i have my trail camera set up on a small opening. they then got heated up as some of the hens started talkin and soon it was double and triple gobbling from all 6 birds at once from only 50 yards away. Man did that get me FIRED UP!!!!!

but figures still got a month and a half till i can hunt those darn birds. PA season starts way too late. just figured i would share what just happened since i am all worked up wishing i could be sitting in the woods right now havin a ton of action. Havent checked the camera yet since the birds are still back there but when i do ill hopefully update this with an awesome strutting picture

Jason, that last pic is pretty cool. Looks like a little fox eradication may be needed.
