Team 10 - Those Flockin Gobblers
#411
Thanks for all the compliments guys. I am very lucky to have some very good ground to hunt on and I am very paticular about where and how many birds we kill of each farm. One of my favorite farms to hunt that I have killed birds on every year I didn't even hunt this year. Should be some good birds there next year. Also we couldn't hunt birds in TX and NE if it weren't for good friends that I have met on this website.

I'm dreaden the hike I'm going to have to make Sunday/Monday, but at least I have a chance at an upgrade considering it's Public. With the main road flooded, hopefully there hasn't been that many people hunting it this year. It doesn't look like a good piece of private is going to fall in my lap by Sunday, so no other options available. Do we have many still hunting?

My season goes until next Sunday, but I won't shoot another bird until I get one for my buddy. The way it has been going the past few days, that task will be hard enough. Heard just one gobbler this morning. Not a clue where the birds went.

I'm suprised some of your seasons are done already. March 15th-May 31. So thats what 76 days for here. Thats alot of days and I can't fill my tags They must think we have an over population of birds here in Nebraska or its for guys like me to have time. Its already been a long work week so I'm ready to get back after em this weekend.
