No luck this time, I hit a bird but no recovery. I thought it looked like a good shot but after reviewing the video I see it was low and forward.I have another tag for mid may. I have not used a shot gun in ten years but I may break it out just to get on the board!!

Way to go getting us on the board. Congrats nice bird.

I hope to get out this weekend for the PA opener but knee replacement is taking longer to heal than expected so I don't know if I'll we be able to do the walking in the field.

I'm off to SD tomorrow for my first hunt of the spring finally! Going out for 5 days with 4 tags, 2 state and 2 tribal, so hopefully I can wrap a few of those tags around some longbeards legs!

Got out twice this past weekend, saw birds both times. Wasn't able to connect though.

Shot me a meat bird April 26th
14 lbs 1 ounce
4 3/4 beard
no spurs.
This little jake will be the guest of honour at my annual wildgame bbq I host for family and freinds. But he still counts now I'm looking for his Grandpa.

well I was able to get out for the PA opener for a few hours before my knee started to act up. I had a few birds going but was able to connect.

Congrats to all who have got their birds and hopefully we can get a few more and get into this race.
