Default Rechargeable Batteries

Does anyone use rechargeable batteries in their game cams? If so, what brand and how do they work? The cost of "D" batteries is killing me. Especially running four cameras. If they work well and hold a decent charge, I may be better off investing in some. With this cold weather, the batteries obviously get drained much quicker than in the spring or summer.

My biggest problem would be the number of batteries I would need to buy. Im thinking I would need two sets for each camera so that I had new ones for when the batteries needed charged.

Any thoughts??

I use Eneloop low-discharge AA batteries in my Scoutguards, and they work awesome! Run 6 months at a time and they are rechargable.
