I do mine very plain and simple. I submerge in water and boil for an hour. Had it warm already but most of the time I eat it cooled. A little salt and pepper on the thin slices dipped in mustard. Its the first thing I eat on the first kill of the season.

I like to take my deer and boil it as described above. Then slice it thin and put it in a gallon jar along with a dozen eggs or so and sliced onions. Add your favorite pickling solution and let it set for a month in the fridge. Open and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Very good stuff.:)

I've always fried mine. I just soak it in salt water for about an hour. Then make sure it is completely dried...and dredge it in eggwash and flour. Then I fry it hot and fast.

It's yummy!

Boil or pressure cook. Trim off fat and slice in thin strips. Mixin cooked noodles with mushroom ;creme cheese and top with bread crumbs. bake to light brown on top.

Raw!...

Lighted breaded, pan fired to medium rare-usually dinner that night, so I'm pretty hungry this year!

Man....some good ideas there. I guess it pretty basic cooking? Fried sounds good and dipits recipe makes it gourmet lol........ Well, from now on my lab will look at me strange when I dont throw him the heart. Thanks for the replys and ideas.
