Just a couple thoughts as I have been refreshing my memory on the rules and whatnot for this contest...
Who's our team captain?

A week from tomorrow and Wisco is open! Can't wait! Still trying to stick a buck with bow, have 3 or 4 real nice ones on camera.

Anyone willing to volunteer?

We saw absolutely nothing today. Got interupted by a neighbor farmer after being out about 2 hours. I looked towards my truck and I thought I saw someone parked behind it so I got out the binos and sure enough there was someone parked there. I had left my keys in my truck so I had to walk all the way back to it and lock it up. He saw that we were walking back to the truck and he decided to block the drive so I wouldn't be able to leave. I have been hunting out in this area over 20 years and have permission from all the land owners arourd his 20 acre field and wood lot. When we got to the truck you shoulda seen the look on his face when I opened the truck door and got my keys out to lock it up and started to walk to another area to sit. He ask if we had seen the no tresspassing signs he had posted up. I said yeah we don't hunt his puney 20 acres when I can hunt the almost 800 around him. He then said well I called the sherrifs office. I then said well we are going across the field, into the woods and just down the hill from there, So when the sherriffs dept. got there to just send them on down. LMAO It was funny as hell. I bet that was an embarracing call back to the sherriffs dept. explaining that there wasnt actually tresspassers on his 20 acres. While we were walking to where I told him to send the officer he decided to go ahead and leave. I told my buddy that I hoped that the sherriffs officer that showed up was my cousin. One of the propertiesy that i hunt out there belongs to our great uncle.

Got an 8 pointer with a busted off tine that would have made him a 9 on Opening Day, scored 115 1/8. Would have easily been 120 with the missing tine. Will try to get the pics and story posted tonight!

Season started a week ago, and I haven't been out yet.
But, got an invite to hunt a hot section of western NY next weekend! Snow in the forecast! WOOHOO!
