My muzzleloader week opens tomorrow. My rifle season opens next weekend. Had a really nice 6 pointer come to the base of the tree I was in a couple of weeks ago. He stood directly underneath me sniffing my climbing sticks for a good 3 minutes. I never got a clean shot at him with my bow. A doe came in and he chased her off, never giving me a shot. Maybe I can get another crack at him with my ML. Hopefully I can help our team out this weekend. Good luck to everyone.

Opening day today in Montana. I usually let things settle down a bit before heading out. Too many fools out shooting at anything that moves.

Hey team, sorry haven't been around for a while, seems sitting in an airplane seat isnt nearly as much fun as sitting in a tree stand.....need to correct that!!! Our Muzzleloader season is on, haven't been out yet, hope to next week, rifle season opens Nov 8th, have 5 days booked!

Guys, I'm sorry, but I screwed us out of 25 points. I killed a doe this past weekend with my ML, but left my camera and video camera at home. I never forget to bring them when I'm deer or turkey hunting, but this time I did. It won't happen again. Anything happening with the rest of you?

That's OK, at least you got some meat in the freezer. I think you owe us some backstrap, though!

Default Checking In

Howdy,

Just checkin in and seeing how everyone is doing. I think I might start getting out a bit more toward the middle of this week.

My brother harvested this unique buck yesterday. He and I are a lot alike in that we both are suckers for a unique trophy instead of a bigger trophy. I'd hate to score it.

Got this buck on the opener this weekend. Not huge, but a decent buck for over here. He scores 86 4/8". I'll try to get one a little better to improve our score. At least it's a start.

Inside spread - 14.5
Right main beam - 15.5
Left main beam - 16.2
Left G1-1, G2-6, G3-3.25
Right G1-2.25, G2-3.5, G3-3
Left C1-3, C2-2.75, C3-3, C4-2
Right C1-3, C2-3, C3-2.75, C4-2.2

Total gross score- 86 4/8

It's been a slow year so far...
Seen 5-Doe's a Coyote & Bear, with nothing to show for it

No Bucks yet, muzzle opened this past Sat. (10/30)
1 1/2 days of WINDY chit, did I ever tell you I hate hunting in the wind...

Maybe soon Good luck Boyz
