New tires, new hubs (after they decided to blow grease everywhere), and oil change in my Samurai. Must mean it's time to go scouting.

3stone checking in. I'm only gun hunting once this year, but I almost always take a buck (minimum of 135'). Wisconsin gun season opening weekend is weekend before Thanksgiving so I probably won't be posting mush till then. Good luck team!

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Ive been really busy with school, football, and hunting. Just an update... I did shoot at one last sunday morning with the shotgun but Im afraid I missed. Their was no blood anywhere and the buck showed no sign of being hit. He was a nice one too!

At least you're getting out and seeing some. Shotgunning is tougher than most people realize. I'm glad to hear you looked for signs of a hit. I can't count the number of times I've seen "hunters" not even look.

This won't help our team for the gun contest, but I took this doe on the bow opener Friday morning. Any of you had any success with bow or gun?

Nice job ss! My bow season has been pretty unproductive so far. Takes time I guess.

Congrats, good shot. She'll be good eating. No bow hunting for me this year.

Does everyone have their bucks staked out?

Antelope season starts this weekend and I hunt antelope in one of the same areas I hunt deer. I'll probably wait at least a week before I head out, though. Too much lead flying in early antelope season.

Saw a really big two point (two by two) mulie this morning. So, what is up with those? Are they young bucks with good genetics, or old bucks with poor genetics? Just saw him breifly so I couldn't really tell by the body type. I'm not gonna go for him or anything, just wondering what you think.
