My 2008 buck. Picture is a little bad but it was very late at night and I had worked all day))
 Last year (2009) I had some health issues and no property to hunt until the first week of November, really stunk hard considering our season opens on the 15th of September every year. I also had some serious issues with tresspassers. This year I have some small ajoining properties that all run together adding up to around 80 acres. The three land owners assured me that this year I will be the only one hunting. No crop fields within 1.5 miles so I have been scouting hard all summer and setting up stands on travel and transition routes. I have also been concentrating on pinch points around the swamp at the far east of the property, hopefully my years of bowhunting experience will pay off. Dave. |
Hmmm, 4 peeps still have not checked in. Hopefully they will soon or we will have to get Christine to set us up with some alternates.

Hey guys, just checked my trail cam today and pulled some pretty nice buck pics off the camera. I forgot to set the date\time so don't mind them. These pics were from 8-10-10 to 8-23-10 and the time is about 3 hours and 15 minutes fast. Just in case you were wondering the time. These pics are at the edge of the field about 10 yards from stand. There were a lot of nice 8 pts on the cam too but just put up the bigger guys. !!HAPPY VIEWING!!

Just checking in for team 7. You guys (and gals?) ready for a great season! I think this year will be my year. I recently purchased a 4x4 truck, so I don't have to rely on other people to set my hunting schedule and plan on hunting closer to my house (so I can get out more). I found some great WIHA hunting land in KS last spring, while turkey hunting, that should yield some very nice deer. Out of one place I have in mind, my dad and I kicked out over 25 deer in one group. Should be a great one and I'm super pumped :barmy:!
