I've been out a few times. I drew back at a young 6 at 30 yards and a big ole doe at 25 yards. Ended up not taking either shot because the angles weren't ideal. Hope to get out again next week a few times after work.

Yes, there are some areas that are managed and little hunting pressure the deer can grow to be huge. I hunt a area that's if its brown its down, makes it hard to take a nice buck. I usually pass on younger bucks hoping for a 130 to 150 class buck. Every year I see the bucks I passed on killed in gun season. Good Luck this weekend !

been out a few times. Lost a doe last week. followed a blood trail until 10:00 pm and then it started pouring. What little blood I was following was gone. Kept looking for a while but no luck. Last time out at the navy property, saw nada. Friday was the last day there. Tonight, saw a small buck but I couldn't shoot it if I wanted to because im in an earn a buck zone and need to check in a doe first. Plenty of time to go.

Nothing to report over here. Been out only a couple of weekends, seen some does and no shots yet.
I'm going to Wisconsin on Wed for
4-5 days. Weather looks pretty good and hopefully I'll see some action.
Good luck all!

Good luck in WI Hawk. I've been out a bunch but no luck yet with me either. It's been raining acorns over here in VA so I think this has limited overall deer movement. Next few weeks should get exciting though.
