That is my plan Wheatley, but that was my plan this past weekend also. I could have started us off with 90 to 100 inches, but that is not what I was after. If I dont connect this week, then my percentage of getting a big buck with a bow goes down ALOT!!! My spirits are still high. Gunna get him this week!!! In Jesus name...Amen lol

Still raining here this AM. It is supposed to break and start clearing up this afternoon. Should be a good afternoon to see some deer moving if the wind dies down...

Went to CT last night.. good night... had 4 does come in... just couldn't get a shot... one was less than 20, but behind some stuff... no shots. Buddy missed one.. then all hell broke loose.. the crop damage hunters opened up with their rifles in the field beyond the woods finger I was sitting about 150 yards away! I almost fell out of my stand! 5 shots... they took 2 8 pointers!!! Ugh...

That sucks! To bad they didn't scare them your way before they shot them.

It rained here all weekend and got a little cooler. I can't wait until November now.

Saw 6 turkey and got within 75 yards before the lead turkey spotted something it didn't like and led them away from me. Deer sightings are way down this year for me. Must be all those acorns on the ground. Almost dangerous to walk there's so many of them.
