Nice bear. Do you have a lot in your area? Can you bait? We have a few in our area. I got one with BP a few years ago but rarely see them.

Good luck Opel.
Talon, We have a TON of bears. Baiting and dogs are not legal. I have a spot that I see alot of bear and there is a ton of feed. This is my 5th bear and 3rd w/ bow since 2002.
My buddy shot a fork horn on public land in CT last night. First full velvet buck. He's pumped... I'm anxious to get out. Hopefully next week I can get down to CT w/ bow.

Going to pick up the meat from the locker tonight. They called last night and said it was done. After all was done 198lbs of meat with 10 pounds of breakfast sausage for biscuits and gravy!!!

Then Friday it's off for some mule deer hunting. Good luck Opel.

I will sure try. My buddy was out scouting and gave me some spots to look in. They seen two good wide 5's and one with multiple points and heavy.

Cleared some trails with my bushhog last night. Amazing how fast blackberries can grow. LOTS of acorns on the ground. In a white pine stand I saw the two does and two fawns that are frequenting my yard for chestnuts. Saw some bear scat as well.
