Yep the weather is really cooling down here to. I am really liking that considering most of the time the temps are still in the 80's in early october. Chance of a frost here on Sunday. My first day bowhunting will be Oct 17 here in WV. Then Oct 24 before heading to Ohio.
I think the 9pt in the yard is a young deer and have pretty much decided that the only person going to release a arrow or squeeze the trigger on him will be the wife.

Uploaded some video from the wildgame today and take a look at whats roaming the area.

I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but it's cool to get a coyote on video. He took off as soon as he saw the infra-red lights (so there's no point in watching the entire video).

The first morning of the season was fantastic. I saw plenty of deer and even had a nice little seven point at 30 yards. I'll be heading back out this evening. There seem to be plenty of deer in the area and I'm already seening a lot of rubs and scrapes. This is a promising start to what should be a great season.
