I've done some hunting in VA already on a damage permit and killed two does so far with the maxxis 31. I've seen a lot of small bucks, some decent ones, but I do most of my regular season hunting on other properties not enrolled in our damage permits. I'll be hunting in VA and probably MD this year. A buddy and I are going to MD to do some scouting on Friday. If MD doesn't pan out then I'll be in PA.

Hey guys just checkin in, the Temps here have been really NICE lately and has also been really windy. And the deer on our farm dont really like to move when its windy. I have been seeing some nice does, small bucks and fawns but nothing worth shooting yet..I saw on our property a couple of nice Rubs but have been able to catch a glimpse of them yet. The last i saw of the bacholer group with all the Big boys was about 2 months ago and i know they are split know but an haveing a hard time pin pointing there location, because its different from last year.
So i will keep hunting and check in from time to time. Any one let Christine know about the team name and captin (DMAN) yet? Also im not really good with avatars but i will see if i cant find someone to do it for us.!

No the acorn have not fallen yet. BTW there are alot of spots that are kind of my "go to" spots, but it seems that the bucks are in a different pattern this year for some reason. And i have hunted this particuler farm for about 10 years.
But the temps are starting to fall every day, so im feeling good!!
