alright..our very own ky gurl is up to bat 1st it sounds like... so lets get her pumped up and ready to take down some bone.
i am gonna shoot some doves this weekend, to help relieve my blue antler syndrome...no lifting cars does not fix this. maybe a hog or 2 if we can. lots of plot and clearing to do while i am there, so work, then play!!! |

Just got in from the woods. Had two does show up right at 7 this morning...coming right towards me. Then all of a sudden a stupid cat comes out of nowhere and the deer go crazy, blowing, stompin, and run off...I was so mad. Then about 15 minutes after that I seen 7 does come over the hill and jump the fence running like nobodies business lol come to find out there was a little 8 point chasing them. Great opening morning, but no shots. Cant wait till the evening hunt :p

Alright guys I got him measured, just waiting for the score thread thingy to show itself cuz I cant find it lol He had a total of 83 1/8 inches of fuzzy wonderful antler. :D I put the measurements into a calculator for deer scoring and this is what it came up to. It may be wrong but I dont know how to score deer lol

did you see the link on how to measure em? i posted it with rules everyone was supposed to read 10 times.. .hope the pic has you, your bow and the deer plz plz plz.. i looked fer alternates, but none seem to fit the qualifications we need..i am still doin interviews, bare with me!! i just got back from a back breakin weekend, did a bunch of clearing and weed wacking, tilling and seeding... saw a bunch of deer ...a couple nice 8's and about ten 6's... a butt load of hogs, and even a bobcat.. didnt shoot anything, had to much work to do to have ta do that too.. did manage to get some boatin fun in...im realizing that i aint that young anymore..wooo weee. |

Thanks Gang, We have seen some great bucks this year... I should be good for @ least 130" :} Ill be Hunting NY, Oct 16th our Bow Season starts... Monroe, Genesee,Orleans Counties...
