not much to talk about after five days of hunting. Got the camera in a new spot that has been getting hit hard by a buck or two. Checking the cam out just before shotgun season opens in two weeks.

Sunday night my father shot and missed about a 120" 250lb deer we named Tank, 2 times. First time his shot hit a vine and his second shot was low. Monday night the deer was right under my stand. Problem is I was sitting in my other stand about 150 yards away in the woods. Oh well that's the way the cookie crumbles. This mourning on the way to school we saw a giant 10 point in a field 20 seconds away from my house chasing a couple of does. Looks like the bucks are already in rut. Going out tomorrow to attempt to get him from my backyard stand. Wish me luck.

FINALLY. went out 10/30/10, in the am, and saw 5 different buck, bumping two on the way to the stand... hunted till 10 and started working my way back to the truck... bumped a monster, and then he decided that he was gonna stand there and watch me, knock an arrrow and cut loose... 25 yard shot, 1/4 to, double lung shot, ran 25 yards and dropped...pictures to come.. biggest buck to date

Thats awesome! Congrats, cant wait to see the pics. Funny how hunting works sometimes.
Ive been passing allot of 2.5 year olds, trying to hold out for something older but Im getting an itchy trigger finger lol. Im off for the next 2 weeks so with a little luck I can get a good one down.
Congrats again Grinnin

Great buck Grinn. So far i haven't had a deer come within range. Let alone a nice buck. Hopefully that changes tomorrow, the corn was cut where i was hunting and tonight is saw alot of does and a spike about 200 yards away so im going to move my climber in the woods for tomorrows evening hunt.
