I think im going to use the rage 2 blade this year, after some research i found almost all of the incidents with not enough penetration were people shooting slower bows, ie <300fps or shooting into the shoulder.

Well Ryan, good luck with the rage this year, hopefully we will both draw some blood with them.

Nice bucks, Monster.

OK, our early archery season began this morning. I was hunkered in my ground blind shortly before daybreak and deer started going by at first light. Mostly they were out of range, except for a doe and fawn, and all seemed agitated and moving quite fast. Then the reason showed up - a pair of moose; There was a cow and a yealing bull, which moseyed past me at 15 yards. Slam dunk if season was open, but immature bulls don't begin until October 15. Pretty awesome morning nonetheless.

Sounds like an awwesome morning! I cant imagine something the size of a moose walking past my ground blind. Well, I am headed out in a bit here to put the final touched on my stands. Hope everone is having a good week.
