I am hunting in Wisconsin. Actually been pretty busy baiting bear so far as I drew a bear tag this year. Got 6 different bears coming in so far.

ron3775 in PA checking in. I have a few extremely nice big boys running around. Just hope they don't change locations.

Got everyone marked so far. npockat, what part of Wisconsin are you hunting bear? I drew a bear tag last year in zone D near Washburn. Had an awesome time & took a boar on my 2nd sit. It was a blast...just too bad I have to wait another 7-8 years.

Im in cap'n. 3rd year in the contest. Hunting the rivers of western KY as I have all my life.

I wont promise a monster or anything as Im limited to time in the stand but I can almost guarantee some kind of bone;)

I am hunting more in the central part of WI in zone C. Got a 250-300 pounder coming in behind my parents house. I have 3 baits out right now and each of them are getting hit. Got 6 total bear coming in so far. I was up near Washburn a couple years ago as my nephew got in the DNR learn to bear hunt program. He was 10 and shot a 150 lb bear with the use of dogs! I have the whole thing on video and edited with music and everything. It's pretty cool!

Yeah it took me 4 years to get a tag in Zone C where I hunt. Takes much longer up north further.

That is cool...I hope you connect on that 250-300 lber. My bear last year only weighed a tad over 160, but it was a blast. Took my father-in-law with me in the tree got it all on video as well. Here is a link to a portion of the video (the best part of course)

Well, all but two are in. I suppose it is that time we try to decide on a captain and team name. Either one doesn't bother me. Maybe we should just start throwing out ideas....

Team name, I really dont care. Something stereotypical will work for me hahaha. How about... "Bone Collectors" lol hahaha

I have no problem stepping up. Let's do it this way, if anyone else wants to be Captain, just let me know by Friday...it will be all yours. If not, I don't have a problem with it.

Alright guys, I'm here.. Been out of town working and have not had a chance to be on the internet.. But I am here..

Can't wait for Oct. 1st Been watching a bruiser since last year, he's nocturnal but come mid Nov. maybe he'll slip up..

Gotta take a short break from bow season then mid to late Nov. for an Elk hunt out in AZ.

Ya, that is my archery buck from last year. Two year deal to bag that guy. Have another one I've started watching the end of last year and have only one shot of him this year so far. We'll see what happens..

Got the food plots well underway and did some cleanup around the stands this weekend. The beans are looking good. May be pretty good this year. Been after a 200" for the last 4 years...... He keeps slipping by me.... Oh, he will screw up one time.... and when he does BAM....He's goin for a ride...LOL...

Any body have any trail camera pics yet. I've had mine out for a few months now. None of the monsters have shown up yet, but some respectable bucks are frequenting the area.

















This has a descent 8 in the main picture, but what appears to be the buck I had at 30 yards last year with no shot in the background...lower left corner.

Wow... thanks for all of the love Darin....LOL...I think I have let my big boy grow enough... I think it is time for him to come home this year.... that is if he will give me a shot!.... I don't think I have done too bad in the past....

Couple more weeks for me and my season opens up here in WI. I start bear hunting with the bow this Wednesday. I got all my trail cameras setup on my bear baits right now so I don't have any deer pics yet. After I get my bear this week / weekend (hopefully) I'll have mine out!!

Just checking in. Season doesn't start for a while. Checked camera, have 3 new nice bucks in the area, one with a nice drop. Patiently waiting until season.

npockat, I hope you drop the hammer on a nice bruin. Wish I was partaking in the WI bear season.
