Brutus looks to be about 145-150 to me..

Well, as of right now it looks like the rain may be holding off. So, my afternoon hunt for Twin Towers will hopefully be a good successful one.

Went out this morning but saw nothing but squirrels. Hoping for better luck on Tuesday.

Bueatiful 1st day here in PA. The weather was great. I did see 9 deer so that made it even better. One little buck and 8 does. I could have shot a doe but decided to pass. Season is starting out great hope it continues.

I almost had a doe this morning but she just wouldn't give me a shot. I probably won't get back out until Monday, unless it's raining.

Spent the last two evenings in the stand but didn't see a hair. Deer seem to be holed up with the leaves falling. Guess the October lull is on since nothing came out to the fields this evening. Maybe the weather was too nice as last weekend I saw 20 deer in the 40 next to the cabin and it was very windy.

Did get a chance to pick mushrooms, 10 gallons to cook down and into the freezer.

Next chance to hunt is in two weeks. Guess I'll spend the time back on the range keeping in shooting shape.

I got out Friday morning, which was opening day. About 30 min into the hunt the farmer started speading lime in the field right behind me, making quite the racket. Didn't even see a deer. Hopefully I can get out a few times this week.

Mushrooms in Oct? What kind are they?

Went and talked to the bow shop. The guy said hopefully by the end of the week. Yeah, I hope so to. There is alot of rain forecasted for the next few days so I'm not sure how much I'll get out. I am off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. hopefully I will be able to at least get a couple of hunts in between rain drops. As it stands right now the only time I will be able to get out is Wednesday morning and evening,Thursday morning, and Friday morning. On the weekend I will only be able to hunt in the evenings. Been out twice. Still haven't seen a deer. I'm in 3A of PA and its just real slow up here. I'm hoping I can find a hunny hole here soon.
