Well you guys, remember when you said "too bad her deer was with a gun"? This time it ain't. I shot a monster buck yesterday. We scored him at 161"! 12 pts. Look for my thread to read the story and see pics. I will get his official measurements to you as soon as I can!

Well Mottz I really do have a tag left but I dont think its ethical to go out and shoot another buck if I dont know if he is alive or not. I have a gut feeling he is dead but I have not found him yet. I really hate to say it but I hope I start seeing coyotes in one of the areas I checked and that might give me an idea where to look.

well everyone i'm still hard pressed for time in the woods. gonna go out either sat. or sun. after work. i'm still on 7 day work week and now my son is in wrestling so any chance of me going out during the week is pretty much gone. the daylight savings time change also took effect. that's one less hour of time each day for me when i get off work. i do have 2 days off for turkey day though.

Very nice tsaxy! Hopefully we can all back you up on some kills and get some more score up there. 4 more days til I can put the rifle down and get the bow back out til Dec 31.

not sure that i'll make it out this afternoon-really windy and rain all day for the forecast(i have no rain gear) i do have sunday off so i'll go then 4sure. gun season starts monday here in ohio. i'm sooo happy to have the job i have but didn't realize how little time it allows me for hunting. i really thought this will be the year for a nice buck but now it's not looking good-at all! i've only been out 3 times this yr.(that is a huge disappointment and confidence killer)i also feel like i'm letting y'all down even though i'm doing what i can. my apologies everyone.
