I have a therma cell. They do work good, but with the number of skeeters out there, I may need 5 of them.

Bow season has arrived
Perfect wind, temps seem good, but I'm at home 1/2 sick with a fully sick 3 yr old son. Not the way I wanted the season to start off.

Was going to head out this am but it was raining. So I slept in. Calling for the worst possible wind directions for me, but I'm gonna take my chances and just hunt. maybe they'll come from a different direction. Let ya know what I see or don't see.

It was colder here in nebraska today and yesterday. I went scouting for mulies and saw 5 bucks and 3 does on the alphalpha field. One was a shooter,so plan on pursuing him later on this week.

Season is open, but where i hunt fields are still up in corn should be down this week and hopefully we can still get some small food plots in for the fall. Went out friday did some scouting but fields are keeping deer traveling to a minimum. We'll see in the next week or two.

it's great to hear from y'all, whether ya see anything or not. as for me, my work schedule is the best that i can expect. i'll get off at 3:18 everyday, so i can be home by 4:00p.m. and in the woods by 5:00 at my spot(s), 6-7 days a week. season for me opens this sat. crops are going down like a snowball in 70 degree temps-lol! i realize how tuff it can be trail cam pics vs. out there hunting. i'm sure we all been there. i'll leave us on one positive note: good things come to ye that waits! good luck y'all.
