For those on my team last year that made the hit and run

No that I know of. Been real busy and haven't made my trip back down that way. We did swap emails a month or so ago. Basicly said we'll get out for drinks when our paths cross.

We came close last year, and we put down a lot of good bucks. Just a few more inches and we would have been the champs.

hey fellas....I too spent quite a bit of time in the field trying to score some horn for Hooters Shooters. The few opportunities I had at a legal buck (8pt antler restrictions in my area) didn't go in my favor. The last three years I shot a buck for this contest, so I don't appreciate Fieldmouses general comment about shooting even the smallest buck. I admit I blew my best opportunity when I shot at a 130+ deer and one of my blades was open on my Rage BH that planed my arrow. We all make mistakes. But that doesn't mean we weren't out there trying. Hopefully this thread was started soley for the people that didn't ever come back to give reports., and not those that didnt shoot a small buck. I can't legally shot a "small buck", so I'd hate to see discrimination against guys that were actually trying but didn't come through. This is supposed to be a friendly competition....lets try and keep it that way.
Can't wait for the upcoming season. I'll be hunting multiple states this year in hopes of shooting a bruiser. I'll be out hunting near Coshocton Ohio...maybe see a monster for the wall. Good luck to all this season.
