Hey Ken I hunted longbeards in WV around 8yrs ago. I think the town was Parsons? Lil' podunk town with lots of national forests around it. Anyway we all did really well, not sure why I've not been back since. Little side story about the local folks, they looked at us funny for chasing stupid turkeys around the woods. Seems as though the squirrel hunting is a big deal in those parts.

Doesn't matter on team captain either.
There is a ton of turkeys around WV. I mean it's hard to not find turkeys are here, espically where I live. So I should have a great season....of coarse I will probaly go after the first bird with the gun, and then the second with the bow.

alrite guys glad i could make it on this team! i hunt northern missouri,my familyowns a 2000 acre farm up there thats full of turkey so hopefully i will be able to pull it off with the stick and string this year! lol i've shot many- a -longbeards with a boom stick but only once with a bow

Wecome aboard Steve! You're right about it being loaded with birds out there! I chased whitetail on state land in Adair Co. and man I never seen so many freekn turkeys in all my life! Good luck this spring!
