Well guys...I'm out for the rest of the season....A friend was shooting my bow the other night, and just as he touched the release, the arrow fell off the string and it dry-fired....my cams and peep are ruined and I will not be able to fix my bow until college is done for the summer and I can make some money... The kid had some archery experience, so I really don't know what happened..but it happened, and I can't archery hunt....I guess I'll be sticking to the Benelli this spring...

Man, I hate to hear that. What kind of bow were you shooting and what draw length? I may be able to help you out. I should be up around Marysville next weekend to try shooting a bird.

I went this past weekend and killed a bird with a shotgun... it was pretty easy spot and stalk situation. I called in a big tom on saturday morning for my buddy (okbowhunter) and when he was at full draw the bird busted. Later on I called in 3 toms and my other buddy shot a little prematurely, I think he got tired of holding his bow actually. I'm headed to Texas this weekend for another go... should be good!!

Here is the bird from this weekend.
