I will mostly be hunting out of a blind, but if there is a need to run and gun with the bow, I won't be skeered...

I will be setting up a couple cameras this weekend in hopes of getting pics of some birds. I have a pretty good idea where they are roosting, so I'll be concentrating on those areas.

I can't wait until turkey season, nuttin better than morrell's and turkey for lunch..

I got out to my property before sunrise Saturday and heard 3 gobblers for sure on it. One gobbled at every sound in the woods. He must have let loose 100 times while on the roost, flew down and hammered 4 more times then completely shut up.

Heard a few gobbles when they flew back up Saturday night but in different spots than the morning.

Sorry I haven't been around guys, been sort of busy. I have several areas that should be good. My season is April 11-16. I need to check and see if I got a 5th season permit also.

Maybe dumb but I am playing around with the idea of sitting in a treestand in one particular area a couple of times, partly because of the terrain and partly because I am a very novice turkey hunter.
