Well we went to a different farm pond this morning that had been holding a few ducks and geese. The ducks started showing up before shooting hours and we ended up jumping them. About 9-10 came back a little later and we ended up with 6 mallards. The geese didn't like something about our setup because they would flare when they started to work. Only two landed and out of range. Got back to where we usually hunt everyday and sure enough there were 16 geese sitting on the water. We will try them tomorrow if they come back. Add 3 ducks to my total.

We killed 10 more geese this morning at the farm. Two were mine. Looks like things might be picking up lately.

Great Pictures. You guys have a nice looking spread. You are really starting to pile them up.

We went out to try and get some snow geese yesterday. It didnt go as well as planned. We had a bunch of snow on the ground and our snow goose decoys did not stand out very good. But we did have one nice group back peddling 20 yards out. We ended up getting 4 snows and 3 blues. I only got one of them.

Yeah we have been seeing birds everyday now. We are hoping this cold weather will push some more new geese our way. We got four more today. Only one was mine. No pic today, but here was yesterday photo.

Saturday morning 6 hunted and killed 12 geese and three were banded. That afternoon 4 others hunted the pit and killed 8 of which one was banded. Please add 2 (1 banded) to my total.
10 of us hunted today and most all day and we never saw goose within a half a mile away.

Congrats on the bands! It sounds like you guys are really tearing them up.

Here is a pic from the other day. I wish I had my camera with me while we were hunting we had a tornado of snows that was over 2,000 birds, talk about noise.

Keep up the good work Kansas. Things have been kinda slow around here the last few days. We need some help.

We really wacked them today at the pit. 13 guys hunted at different times all day today and we ended up with 27 geese and 2 ducks. Add 2 more to my total. Here is a pic from this mornings shoot. Thanks, Rick

Geeze, you guys are piling them up GREAT job.

Our duck season is opening back up this weekend. We have a couple thousand around we may try it Sat. morning. We are even starting to get some pintails migrating back up. I would love to get one of these late winter drakes.

Looks like it was a great hunt!

I am going to head out this afternoon to hunt some geese. Hopefully they are a little more receptive then they have been. I went and checked our pond that we are going to hunt this weekend and it was black with mallards. I cant wait!

I ended up getting 3 Canadas, and 2 snows.

We had an outstanding duck hunt this morning. We ended up with 13 Mallards and 2 Pintails. 5 were mine.

We got 6 geese and a duck yesterday. (1 goose for me). Had some new guys hunting with us today and we got 5 geese and a fox. The fox was mine but I don't think it will count. LOL

Just Fred and I today at the pit because of rain I guess. We had three come in early and got all three. Later a pair flew by and we finished them off as well. Then we let 2 groups totaling about 35 land in the decoys and later fly out. Add 2 more to my total please.

Only got 1 canada today. Seasons almost over.

yesterday was the last day of duck season. We ended up getting 5 mallards and 14 snows. 2 ducks were mine and 3 geese were mine as well.

Waterfowl season has been over for a little over a week down here in Louisiana... Guess now it's all hogs and turkey... Gotta love the woods... Hunting down here in Cameron, La was pretty good but, too much water from the hurricanes the last couple years for geese in my area... What a bummer...
