If you hadn't noticed I will highlight everyone's name as they check-in. Best of luck to everyone this year. I have been in a slump the past few years. I think this is going to be the year that I break out of it though. I have a buck that has a good pattern going. This is the one I hope to get the tape to this year.

I just sent everyone who hasn't checked in a PM. Hope we can get everyone involved. If not, I am sure there will be some alternates. Thanks huntinboy1122. I have the the trail cam out again so I am hoping to get him patterned as we come into fall.

I think this about the time to start thinking about a team name. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Also I am not sure how to make an avatar, so if someone knows how to do that speak up.

By the way, my name is Derek and I am hunting in Monroe county Indiana. I hunt on my parents 45 acres. I feel truly blessed to have such a great piece of property to hunt on. The largest buck we have ever taken off of the property is the buck in my avatar. He scored 153" gross.

hey team 15, my name is zach and im from southern indiana!

Well I thought I would give a try at picking a team name and avatar. Let me know what you think. It is a rough sketch I can refine it later. This by no means the final one. Let me know what you guys think, because I am not the most clever person in the world.

My name is Keith. I am from the southwest suburbs of chicago. I will be hunting in northern wisconsin, southwest illinois, and possibly west central indiand. I manage remodeling foreclosure for a bank and am also working on getting my CPA. I have no clue about a team name or avatar but at least you put the effort in to think of something. Ill try to think of something or come up with a graphic, cant guarantee anything cause i have been really busy lately. Does everyone just gun hunt or are there bowhunters? Looking forward to all seasons and to start doing some hunting!

welcome to the team mikefes. drock thats still a nice lookin buck. it seems as though you have him patterned out pretty well. best of luck following up on him. when does your gun season start?

We are only short one member so far. That isn't all that bad considering some teams hardly have any members checked in.

As we are getting close to the end of the month we should start to discuss what our team name should be. I think we should pick something intimidating. Also we need to pick a team captain. I am never one to jump at the chance of leadership, but I wouldn't mind doing. I am on my computer quite a bit lately so I have been keeping up with things regularly. Just let me know what you guys think.

huntinboy1122, I have that buck fairly well patterned. The bad part is that I am not going to get a chance to hunt him until November 15 when our gun season opens. We don't have a lot of hunters around us, so I am not all that worried that he will be taken before then. I just hope he doesn't go wild chasing around the does come rut. Time will tell.

D rock, I think you're doing a fine job acting as the Captain. I think we should make you the offical Captain.

I'm stoked about this season. I have a few different private areas to hunt this year in central va. My muzzleloader starts oct. 31 with the rifle season starting on nov. 14.

I agree with needing an intimidating name. I'm not sure if Team Doe Urine fits the bill though. I'll try to strap on my thinking cap.

I also vote to make D Rock the official team captain. I have thought he has shown the leadership up to this point so why not let him continue to take the reigns. I like the avatar and name a lot better too.

D Rock gets my vote as well. Just got back from hunting speed goats in Wyoming. Will try to come up with some names to shoot around with you boys. Something so scary that the other teams will doe urinate haha.

Sorry I haven't been on here very much lately. It is the busy time of year before deer season opens up. Once deer season starts on the 14th things will slow down for me and I will be in the woods a lot.

Indiana's two week shotgun season opens up on the 14th and then after 5 days off our two week muzzleloader season starts. I hope to put a doe down early. Freezer comes first right now, so hopefully I will be able to put some points on the board.

As far as a team name goes it is either Doemanators or Trophy Rack Killers. Just let me know what everyone thinks.

Hey guys,
I got me a buck this weekend! It is a 9 pointer he will probably only score around 110. I thought he was a little bigger when I shot him at over 120 yards with my 12 ga. He field dressed at 190 lbs. I am going to socre him this weekend But im going to wait to turn it in here. I have reserve hunt at the end of the month and im going to try and get something just a little bigger yet.
