Well guys and gals, our gun season opens this weekend, and runs for 7 days, so hopefully I can add some points for the team. If I dont get one durring gun season, I still have ML season. That starts the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and runs for 3 weeks.

Like BigDaddy said, MN firearms season opened this weekend. I was out, but 100% trying to get a deer for my son. He is 10 and this is his first year that he can take a deer. We were out on Sat and he missed 2 does. I think I was more nervous than he was. Didn't have any more chances. Heading up to North this weekend - should be able to get us a doe another doe on the board and hopefully a buck.

good luck all

Good Luck Travis! I hunted hard all weekend, and didnt see a dang thing! I wish the farmers around here would get the corn out. And Ma Nature would turn the temp down. 70 degrees on the Minnesota opener!

My son was torn about shooting in his air rifle competition and going hunting. We had a talk about his team is counting on him and the coach is allowing him to shoot at 0800 so we will be over and in the woods before lunch and the whole second hunt.
