We'll the 1st week of PA archery season is almost over. I have yet to see a deer from the stand! I am a bit rattled but the better hunting is coming. One of the worst starts that I have had in years. The deer are hear but they are not moving. The acorns have these deer on all kinds of different trails and area's. Hope everyone else is having luck than I am!

Man, I wish I went out this weekend. I just saw a whole load of deer out driving through a local park as well as a bunch of turkey's all at about 5:00 PM. This cold front is really making the animals move. Good luck everyone who's out there!

Nothing today except a couple yearlings.


Moved a couple stands then scouted a small part of the farm that is across the road. It was loaded with tracks but no rubs or scrapes
Ended up hanging 2 stands over there.

Went and had a sit this evening in one of the stands I put up yesterday .
Went in with high hopes due to all the tracks along the field edge and on trails cutting thru the timber.
Just before dark I had 2 does come out of the corn and into the timber edge. Drew back on the biggest doe but it was too dark in the timber already to try a shot.
