Finally...less than 24 hours to go...and NY gets to hit the woods! I'm getting together my usual items that go in my backpack...camo is hanging outside...bow is ready...going to throw in a few more practice shots today. And we have some snow on the ground...a first I remember for an archery opener since I've been hunting.

DAMDAMDAM people listen up!!!!!!dont ferget ur damn range finder...i threw down a stock on 3 does friday nite and was successful....but i left my rangefinder on the porch...sux, used my 40 yard pin on a 35 yaard deer...doh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!clean miss but headed bak out this(sat) mornin...gonna st where i kno i should (the deer will be where i aint lol) gl huntgurl

3 does and 3 buttons but neither in my range...gonna sit between the 2 areas where i seen em at tonight...layin low fer now cause the winds swirlin, did i mention dont forget ur range finder....

I have 20 and 30 yards marked with orange flagging in my shooting lanes...no range finder needed

well i have only been at this place fer a couple weekends....so i was stalkin these 3 does and left everything in my stand..sux

went yesterday afternoon and saw 12...4 bucks, one shooter but he was 60 yards away...we are about to head back out...im filmin my buddy by the way but i got my bow also jus in case!

saw some more does that were 60 yrds away..and a good size 6 point sat nite....sunday mornin saw 1 doe and that same 6 i think, the doe was over 100 yrds, but that 6 point, jus like sat night was still 65 yrds away...we played picky boo fer over an hour this mornin...btw set the hog trap in buffalo texas, ol design with a new upgrade....the trap actually goes off now lol

hey guys and gals, sorry i havent responded in a while. Ive called the taxidermist 4 freaking times, and each time he tells that he forgets and will get right on it. Im not sure what i can do to speed this process up. I will continue to check in with him, because scoring a deers rack can certainly not take a month to accomplish. I will keep you all posted with updates to this situation
