But dees, think about all the experience you gained by sitting out there for those 6 days!

That's the one thing that keeps me from taking a guided hunting trip. If I don't see anything here, I just drive 20 mins and I'm home.
One day I'll save my pennies for an elk or deer hunt out west.

consider it time and money well spent. there is nothing better than "tree therapy"! with all the junk that life is throwing at us right now, it's nice to be able to sit out in creation and breathe some fresh air for a few hours.

my therapy starts in approx. 6 days 18 hours... can't wait.

dont get me wrong guys.. i enjoyed every minute of that trip.. except for when my buddy took my release mistaking it for his and cost me a night of hunting.. and i wouldnt hesitate to go back up there again. like u said its good experience for future bear hunts. the only thing i gotta make sure i do next time is not freak out if a 400+ pound sow walks out with 3 cubs at 5 yards like one guy on this trip almost did..
but back to here.. im goin out saturday morning and shooting something (hopefully). its time for something to die on that farm. theres usually 2 or 3 outta there every year by this time. i need to fill the freezer. my backstrap section is running on E.

Sounds good guys.
Got my bow back together tonight but only got a couple practice shots before it got dark so I will fine tune it in the morning and hunt tomorrow evening.

Good luck and stay safe!
