Thats it? WOW....I way over judged that deer. Must be computer shrinkage? LOL That is the biggest 100" Ive ever seen!!!!!

I popped a young Doe tonight at a mere 4 yards, she ran about 40 and tipped over...good eating!

wow.. only 100"? i thought it would at least hit the 125 mark..
solo.. congrats on the doe.. saw the pic on the main forum.. very nice
i had a doe bust me sunday about a half hour before dark.. she came around from the back side. thats the 1st time ive ever seen one come from that way. she was just a little thing so im not too worried about it and it aint the first time ive been picked off in that stand.the last doe that picked me in there got shot so she wasnt around to tell her friends about it. she had another deer behind her but i never got a look at it. she came in silent but the one behind her was making all kinds of noise. but o well, ill let that spot rest til next week sometime when i get a chance to get back out there. that stand is too good and there are too many good deer moving thru there to let it sit for too long. its gotta give in sooner or later. i havnt killed a buck in 3 years so im about to go crazy. i may have been too picky over the past couple of years. is that a bad thing?

As far as having him mounted, I'm planning on doing a European mount. I've got the process started and my buddy will finish it off. I'll post picks when its done.

That was a skinny horned deer guys, but the biggest I've seen in bow range. There are some big deer on that property, but they get scarce after gun season comes in and dogs start running. It was an easy decision to pull the trigger. We get up to 4 bucks depending on where you hunt in NC, with my luck I'll get a 125 come out and won't be able to enter him. I've taken the 1st week of November off, and if you believe how the moon affects the rut, It should be a good week for it!

Here are two that I got off the same farm with my muzzle loader back in 2007
