Hey guys....checking in. I usually check in about daily....but I have been in Wisconsin for the past week....I drew a bear tag. I drilled a nice black bear. First kill with my new Bowtech Admiral.
Anyways, just checking in, and glad I got picked up. I had good fun in the contest last year. Our team didn't win, but I took a nice P&Y buck. I will be hunting Iowa again this year. Good luck everyone.

Its here its here OPENING DAY. To bad we are getting thunderstorms
. The thought of sitting in a metal stand in a tree during a lightning storm just takes all the fun out of it. I might be able to sneek out Friday I am going to be busy the rest of the week.

Thanks everyone. Looks like we have a good team. Season here doesn't open until October 1st. I usually make it out a few times in early October, but I stay out of my honey holes until late Ocotber/early November. Should be a good season. Good Luck everyone.

Here is a quick picture. Most of my other pictures are on my other SD card. Just an average Wisconsin Black Bear....but I was happy after 8 years of applying.

Nice bear! Those are on my list for sure.
This weather we are having is something else. I worked about an 1 1/2 hours of over time last night so i could get everything finished today by 2 P.M. and head to the deer woods. But just like opening day the clouds have opened up and it is pouring. But I am kind of glad since i got a shotshell reloader last week and i was able to get it up and going today. It is a blast I cant wait to try them out on some birds. I am hoping that it wont rain tomorrow I should have good wind and everything.
