Been out 5 times this week, nothing,,,, one 5in spike could have been hanging in the shed, thats it. No does, no bucks with horns... Corn got pulled around my stand yesterday, not sure if that is going to hurt me more.....

I think the corn being gone should help you. All you can do is be out there. A whole season can turn around in mere seconds....

thanks!!! I tried to get out of the gun contest..... but they could not get a replacement.. Ill keep at it. went out for gun opener and did not even see a squirl... Glad it is still duck season!!lol

well i missed the big one sunday morning around 9. he came in to about 25 yards and stood broadside but i didn't see the limb in front of his shoulder. my arrow deflected off the branch and shot right underneath him. he was probably a 140-145 inch buck. it made me sick to my stomach. hopefully he lives through gun season so i can get a crack at him after it with my bow

Gentlemen we are on the board. I was very fortunate to get a mature one down, he isn't the biggest boy on the block but he will go 145 anyway. A pic and story later when I get more time.
