Went out today and didn't even see a deer. So I'm done with bow until Nov 23 til Dec 31. So there still may be a chance for me.

Still plenty of time Mottz - once gun season get's done and it settles back down they'll be back to the food sources again. At least I hope so, I'd love to get a second for the year!

well hunting net has been down for me for a few days.

i was able to get out last friday (the day before gun season). i took a shot at the small 4 that i have been watching since i started sitting there. i hit him good or so i thought. blood was heavy and pouring out both sides. then after 80 yards it peetered off to a drip... the shot was about 30 yards and i only had an opening wide enough for his vitals and a little guts. the only thing i can imagine is that i pulled it over mentally to clear the tree and i hit guts. i tracked this deer for over 300 yards untill i made it to posted land and could no longer proceed. it was the first day of gun season no one around and no way to find out who to ask. but the good news is that i still have a month left starting dec. 5th.. so i will be hitting it hard when school gets off for christmas break.
