I was able to hit the woods Saturday night, and Sunday morning and evening. I tell ya what sitting in the stand for the first time was awesome. That night I ended up seeing 12 does none in range and four hens. They came in to 15 yds and I pulled back on 'em one picked me off and they moved quickly away and I could not get a shot. Sun. morning nothing. That afternoon I passed on a doe at 10 yds because I was going back to school that night and didn't want to mess with it. I also saw two bucks one was around 100". Feels good to be back in the woods. Will be back home next weekend planning on getting us some points on the board.

cant wait till this weekend im jacked this cold weather has got them moving. a buddy of mine shot a buck saturday it grossed 162". monsters keep falling in central ohio

The rain is finally supposed to move out starting Sunday and be good thru Tues night around here. Any guesses on who took Mon & Tues off ?

hey guys i shot a doe last night and i think im going to go out tonight and try for some more

mix of rain and snow on Saturday plus wind. Most of us did not see a deer. Then spent the morning in the woods today without seeing a deer. Opening weekend was not very good but it felt great to get out and be with my buddies. Back on the road this week and then hunting the weekend. Good luck guys!

Well guys I was out Monday & Tuesday, but saw only a spike and a 6 pointer. The six is going to be a good one, his rack looked like that of a 1 1/2 yr old but his body was more like a 2 1/2.

Good luck guys the rest of this week and upcoming weekend. I will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to shoot a doe and just to be out in the woods and to check the trail cameras.
