Uneventful hunt last night, reminded me of why I hate to hunt public land that's close by. Had a father and son come walking within 10 yrds of me not once but twice at about 7pm - the last 30 min of daylight:rant:

But the new leaf suit is good, they didn't even see me the first time.

Last year i shot a nice 8 pointer.. split g2 and split brow, pretty cool looking buck... Well im in classs right now so i'll be on later so i dont get in trouble...

Just over a month to go before I can bow hunt. Octobter 17th is a loooong way yet. DARN, I'm jealous of you guys that are hunting. We get 5 weeks to bow hunt this year. Short season.

you only get 5 weeks for bow whats up with that? here in ohio we get from sept 26 till the first week of feb. i went and checked my camera yesterday and have a diff. buck i havent got pics of in a while. i dont think i will shoot him but i think he is only 2.5 but what do you guys think?
